Our guide should be in Italian, it was the only one available when I booked. However, our guide also speeks English and this change that she did in the last minute was awesome (my husband and I we are Brazilian, we don't speek Italian but we speek English). It saved our tour. Besides that, she had great sense of humour and gave us a lot of information about Pisa and all the monuments. We rlhqd a great tome with her!!!

Very competent tour guide (Ananastasia), with very good German. Clear announcements, you always knew where to go and how the process is. Learned a lot and absolutely recommend.

Uncover secrets of the tower’s tilt and brilliance of the Cathedral’s design with a licensed local guide.

  • Everything you get: Let your local expert reveal the Tower’s curious past, from Galileo’s experiments to the engineering flaws, so you’re fully immersed before climbing on your own. Then, step into the Cathedral as your guide uncovers hidden symbolism in its rich mosaics and centuries-old pulpit.
  • Why choose this: This ticket lets you go beyond surface discovery; uncover how the tilt shaped Italian history and the Cathedral became a symbol of medieval glory.
  • Upgrades: Extend your guided tour of Pisa to include its top 5 sites—experience Baptistery's acoustics, Camposanto's medieval sacrophagi, and historic frescoes at Opera & Sinopie Museums in your preferred language.

Inclusions

  • Guided tour of the Leaning Tower & Pisa Cathedral
  • An expert English, Spanish, Italian or German-speaking guide
  • Access to the Baptistery of St. John and Pisa Camposanto (as per option selected)
  • Access to Opera del Duomo and Sinopie Musuems (as per option selected)
  • Your guide will share all insights before the Tower climb (not during), then join you inside the Cathedral for a fully guided experience.
  • The climb involves 273 steep steps with no elevators, so it is not accessible for wheelchair users and guests with cardiovascular issues.
  • Due to preservation efforts, metal objects, bags, and containers are not allowed inside the tower.
  • For safety reasons, children under 8 are not allowed to climb, and those aged 8-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • You’ll have 30 minutes total in the Tower, including your climb, time at the top, and descent.
  • Since the Cathedral is a place of worship, all guests must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees.
  • You can cancel these tickets up to 24 hours before the experience begins and get a full refund.

I think it is too expensive for what is offered, they take you there and back without explaining anything interesting, they give you a small tour of the cathedral and little else, I think doing it on your own is much cheaper, it is not worth it.

We waited for this trip so much. Pisa was my dream. But i couldn't expect that it will turn out as an awful trip. The support team told us that at 5.30pm they will be at the gates. We were there at 5.30pm, but there wasnt anyone. Then we decided to go to the tour bus parking spot. It wasnt easy to find that place. Finally we found that parking. But we wasnt able to find our bus. We walked through that parking for several times. And asked almost everyone about our tour bus and about the team. Even there were very kind tour (i forgot their name). Their guide suggested to take us back to Florence if they had free places. They really helped us. The guide's name was Sarah. We ended up taking bus to the train station and buying a train ticket. I can understand if there was 1 person late or lost. But if i had 3 people lost in my team, as a guide i would be nervous. Short from long, if I could I would like to rate it 0

My taxi was late picking us up at hotel to take us to train station. Hence, we missed our train and tour guide. I tried repeatedly to have the stupid Bot get us an agent and repeatedly called the local tour agent and left my phone #, but they never got back to me. Finally, after almost 3 hours, the Bot connected me to an agent. The agent refused to give me the phone# of the tour guide and had him call me,but it took more time. He was lovely. He asked why I didn't call him directly and I explained the agent wdn't give me his #. I asked why he didn't call me and he said he is not provided tour members' phone #'s. This needs to change! Give the tour guides their #'s. If he had called me at 10:15 I could have explained and met him much, much earlier. He was truly lovely and kept apologizing. I told him it wasn't his fault. After all that we got to climb the leaning tower, and that was it. I'm done with Headout.
